HEALTHY FAMILIES is a voluntary, free parent education and support program that offers home visiting by health professionals. At every home visit, children get two books.

NURSE-FAMILY PARTNERSHIP with SIU SCHOOL OF MEDICINE

Ongoing help is free for women who are pregnant with their first baby. A registered nurse provides support and information to new moms in their home. Moms get books to read to their little ones. NFP is affiliated with a national organization.

URBAN LEAGUE

URBAN LEAGUE operates Early Head Start (EHS) Program that ensures children (0-3 years of age) and their families of low income receive the academic, social, mental, health, and nutritional education they need to be successful as they continue in their life journey.
